Fall 2021 - Utah
You really can’t beat Big Chino Outfitters!! Starting with entering camp, I was welcomed like a brother. The staff there, every single guide was more than helpful and willing to be a leader and mentor. The cabins were all great and clean and more than you need to have a great experience. After a great stalk with BCO guide Rodney, I was able to kill my buck. Afterwards, the BCO crew took care of the buck by gutting, and skinning the animal and made sure to freeze the cape and skull (it was a velvet buck) Overall, 5 stars to all the guides, their knowledge and the meals and cabins provided for hunters. My experience couldn’t have been better. Thanks, BCO team!

Hunted the 2020 Arizona OTC hunt with the BCO crew, and cannot say enough good things about the experience. From the lodging, the food and best of all, the hunting! Winter 2019 - Kansas City
I hunted with Big Chino in December 2019. JP and the guides were great people and very personable . Great country they have there. Even though I didn't make a kill I decided to go back in October of 2020 because of they way I was treated and the efforts they made to get me a deer. Great organization.
Fall 2018 - Phoenix, AZ
I'm a 78 year old archery hunter. In 2018, I was drawn for antelope in unit 19B. Guides Michael and Junior were great and put me on antelope each day. The third day, I harvested great mature buck. Big Chino's newly constructed camp is outstanding with all the amenities, plus fantastic vistas. The cooks that Big Chino has available are great -you won't go hungry. Hope to harvest a mule deer this fall.
Fall/2018 - Hamilton, MT
I hunted with Big Chino Dec 2018 on a OTC Mule deer archery hunt. I was unsuccessful, but only because I didn’t make the the shots that were presented to me. These boys worked their tails off from daylight to dark to make it happen. We had opportunity after opportunity. The camp life and food was over the top as well. Over the past couple years these guys have become great friends, no, have become family and I’m super grateful to have had the chance to hunt with them. I would absolutely, without hesitation, book another hunt with them.
Fall 2017 - Phoenix AZ
Drawing in antelope tag in Arizona can be a once-in-a-lifetime event . When you have that tag you want to be surrounded by the best hunters you can find With JP, Michael and JR we hunted this goat and more importantly put the goat in a position where I could kill him with my muzzle loader. Killing a goat like this requires a guiding organization with countless years of experience along with a relentless appetite to follow these animals for years. When you draw that tag make sure you talk with a Big Chino about the hunt of a lifetime!!!
Fall 2017 - Phoenix AZ
It was a lot of fun doing this rut hunt with JP. We tangled with this bull for a couple of days until JP called him within 50 yards of me and my muzzle loader did the rest! The guides at Big Chino are exceptional hunters. The have lived and hunted these northern AZ units all of there lives. In addition they are exceptionally talented behind glass and in the end that is a key requirement to locating and eventually killing a big bull.
August 2017 - Shakopee, MN
I was lucky enough to draw an archery antelope tag for the summer 2017 season and hunted the private ranch that BCO offers. What an amazing place for antelope!! Many stalking opportunities will present themselves each day here on great bucks. I was blessed to take what I consider a once-in-a-lifetime animal. The bonus for tagging out early on this hunt is the chance to chase velvet mule deer.
December 2014 - Shakopee, MN
I've now hunted with BCO 8 times over the past 6 years with two more hunts booked for the coming 2019/2020 season. I've learned an enormous amount about archery hunting along the way and have had my share of success, including my first mule deer of any sort, pictured here. All of the people with Big Chino Outfitters will do everything in their power to ensure your success and I've come to think of them as family.

Arizona Archery Bull Elk
I hunted with Big Chino in the Fall of 2009… Archery Elk in Unit 8. As companions, guides and mentors, JP and Michael were awesome. These guys are skilled guides and elk hunters! The level of organization, the quality of the gear and the chow were all first rate. It was the best hunt I’ve ever been on and one of the best times I’ve ever had PLUS I ended up with a trophy of a lifetime. There were times on the hunt when elk were hard to find: I was especially impressed with JP and Michael during these "slow times"… they kept their (and my) attitudes in the right place. Big Chino comes highly recommended for trophy elk in Arizona.

I hunted with Big Chino the late 2009 hunt for bull elk in Unit 23 (December). JP and I had a great hunt overall taking a beautiful 330" 6x6 bull the last day of the hunt. JP provides very comfortable camps and is incredibly knowledgeable about elk. He understood their behaviors and put us in position to be successful several times during the trip. We faced quite a bit of adversity throughout the hunt because of some very severe weather, but we persevered to the end ultimately resulting in success. JP was willing to do whatever it took to bring success to the hunt. I truly enjoyed his company and am looking forward to hunting with him and Big Chino Outfitters down the road. I was very impressed with JP and the crew. Taking my elk 15 minutes into the first day a nice 6x6, other hunters in camp also taking a 6x6 and a 7x8 that would go around 400. Camp was well organized and the food was great. What impressed me most was there knowledge of the local elk herd; hope to draw this year so I can return to the Big Chino camp for that 400 incher.

When I drew my tag, I was about 6 months pregnant with my first child. Arizona Fish and Game confirmed my suspicions that you can’t assign the tag and it’s either "use it or lose it". I was referred to JP and told him that I’d need special arrangements for my hunt. His immediate response was no problem. But when I told him the special arrangements would include accommodations for my newborn daughter and her grandparents, he said "mmmm, let me get back to you". A few days later, JP had booked a ranch near Williams for me and his other hunters. What a place! We’d head out at 5 a.m. and hoof it up and down the mountains until well after dark. But heading back to that ranch was heaven. Happy baby, happy grandparents and happy huntress when JP helped me get that tough elk on the last day. Thanks JP!!

I arrived as a client and left as a friend. I saw animals you only see in magazines, stocked Mule Deer that would make any hunting host envious. The end result is I took the largest Mule Deer in my life with a Bow. Thanks to the unbelievable efforts put forth by JP and Mike Vicente and their support team. I just wanted to email you all to tell you how fortunate I was to have the pleasure of having Danny Parker as my personal guide for the Late Bull Elk hunt this year and to have Wade Parker supporting my hunt as well.
I am very good at my job and I got that way through hard work and persistence. Danny and Wade both possess both those traits. Every day they got up early and literally blazed a trail into the mountains to find bull elk for myself and the other hunter. Their hard work and persistence paid off for both me and the other hunter. I could not have been happier walking up to my 6x5 elk. I felt like a kid on Christmas day who got the present he always wanted.
I cannot begin to tell you how impressed I was by Danny and Wade. Their professionalism and skills as elk hunting guides is above par. I learned so much from both of them and their knowledge of Elk and Unit 8 was astounding. They should be considered major assets to your guide services.
